Flash MX, Dynamic Images question.

in Genius Bar edited January 2014
I'm building a website in flash for a photographer.

The main sellingpoint is the possibility to change the pictures used externally. But I've run into problems. I need to my flashmove to pause until the images are properly loaded.

How do I do that. Help is desperatly appreciated.

    ok, after researching this a bit more I've understood that I need to creat an empty imageholder that can check how my if my image is loaded.

    But I still have no Idea on how to do this.

    This is the script I use:

    loadMovie("picturefolder/mypicture.jpg", "moviename");

    what needs to be added to make the movie pause until the image is properly loaded?

    Try the "_framesloaded" property.
