Web site formatting

I have noticed the very top part of AppleInsider get "pressed down" whenever view from front page and if I were to click on any link, the title of that link would be cut off by the top menu bar (that house the AI icon, News, Review, How-To etc". Is there a way to make that menu bar thinner? I do enjoy the menu bar for convenience but the formatting seems a bit off. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

And here are 2 screen captures to illustrate. The first one is the front page where the menu bar seems to be pressing against the news "What to expect from Apple's Q3..." on very top. And the second one shows part of the title being cut off leaving only wordings "....report on July 28" after the same news article being clicked on.
