Do USB 2 digital cameras work on USB 1.1 ports?

I have a TiBook and I was wondering if a Sony USB 2 digital camera would work on my built-in USB 1.1 ports... Help!



How about other USB 2 devices? Will they work on regular 1.1 USB ports?

    Yes, but they will work at USB 1.1 speeds.

    That was fast! What about the connectors on the cables? Do they have the same shape or is an adapter needed?

    USB 1.1 and 2 cables have the same ends. Your camera may use a non-standard USB cable. (USB port on one end and some other port on the other) But as long as there is a flat-USB end, it should work with your laptop.
