looks like spymac tried the apple search as well...

"Search for the future

12 08 02 | 08:01 PM (@126) | BY THE DIRECTOR

It appears that Apple.com is revealing a bit of tomorrow's releases via its search function.

A search for the terms Power Mac, eMac and PowerBook produce results that coincide with rumored changes:

Power Mac pricing is being bumped by $100, making the base model $1,699

eMac's are dropping by that same amount, down to $999

And most surprisingly, the Power Book line's base model is dropping $300, down to $2,199

MacMinute early reported that tomorrow will see 1.25GHz Dual Power Macs and SuperDrive'd eMacs."

    SpyMac--

I already pointed out that this is old pricing.

    QS 733 = $1699

    PowerBook G4 550 = $2199.

    SpyMac's credibility is atrocious!

It seems these days, the only rumor site that has even an ounce of credibility, IMO, is Thinksecret. They've been pretty accurate with MWNY and hopefully, with tomorrow's update.

Spymac and MOSR are pathetic. Entertaining, but pathetic, nonetheless.

Hopefully, this would explain the now 1-2" day availability for all "old" PowerMacs....

guys, it looks like there won't be a new design tomorrow afterall, but I could be wrong. I found this on apple's site. See, the price was bumped up 100 dollars. If you look at the current apple store, they say starting at 1599 as it has always been. Still keep your hopes up, I may be wrong.

The proof that these images are old is right under y our nose. Apple dates almost all of its product page images in the filename itself.

    Still though, they show that pic on the search. look here: <a href="http://search.apple.com/s97is.vts?Action=FilterSearch&ResultTemplate=webx3 .hts&ServerKey=Primary&collname=Apple&filter=nullf lt.hts&SearchPage=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.apple.com%2F index.html&queryText=powermac" target="_blank">http://search.apple.com/s97is.vts?Action=FilterSearch&ResultTemplate=webx3 .hts&ServerKey=Primary&collname=Apple&filter=nullf lt.hts&SearchPage=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.apple.com%2F index.html&queryText=powermac</a>

I believe in the new look though. After all, I sent out about 100 emails with the pics because I told people to email me on A.I. .

Ya, I know. But, I don't know why Apple didn't update the pic...I mean they should to prevent the confusion.
