Digital Camcorder for Video Chat?

I was wondering if I could use my digital camcorder, connect it to the computer with firewire, and use some type of program that would allow me to use my camcorder to use video chat... ANY IDEAS?

    Sure, thanks to QuickTime any camera should work with any videoconferencing app. Too bad there's not a single standards-compliant videoconferencing app for OS X yet.

    Try WebcamNow.

    it has a Videochat area that should work with your cam, though you will have to download a small app. to use specifically with this site.



    C'mon Apple, give us a GOOD video conferencing app
