Are they TOO shiney ?

The last few days I seem to be getting more tired when using my new iMac than when I used the flat panel with my PC.

I think I have narrowed this down to the fact that the very nice and very shiney plasic bits round the display are reflecting the other areas of my room. And I know that any reflection ON the screen is bad.

Has anyone else noticed this or do you all sit in darkened rooms ?

3000 grit sand paper would work. Just enough to take the shine out of it.

I was actually thinking that. Maybe some of that sticky etching paper stuff might be better tho. I can then peel it off if dont like it.

Use an orbital sander to give it a nice even texture.

you are supposed to Peel off the clear plastic protective cover that is on the screen, They put this on the screen to protect the computer during shipping and they are generally removed by most people.
