Hi.

I may have to do some presentations so and i was wondering if apple's keynote will draw to both screens if you have them...

I own 2 apple 20" lcds and would love to show a slideshow on both.

I own a dual 867 so i am hoping there is enough vram to do it.

prob. not do quicktime video if that helps.

oh wait , i can just "mirror" the monitors right?

ok then can i mirror to 3 screens? the 3rd screen would be driven by a second ATI DVI card in the same mac...

I've got a similar question: Does Keynote have the capability to display a presentation on a second monitor while you work on projects with the primary screen? Each summer I go to an event where we have several large gatherings, and beforehand we like to have announcements and other things displayed on a screen for the audience's information. I still need access to doing other things on the displayer computer while the presentation is going. Last year this worked out okay for PowerPoint, but I was wondering if Keynote can do the same (or better?). Thanks in advance.

Cosmonut, I think it might be able to do that, but I'm not totally sure. I know there is an option in preferences to display the slide show on one monitor while viewing slide notes on the other display, so you may very well be able to do other things other than just reading notes.

Nope. Keynote pretty muchs locks you out of your computer when doing this. Not even a cursor. You can see your notes and the following slide on your screen, but that's it.

Cosmo: It might be worth a try to set the external monitor as your main, then play Keynote from there.

Kf12: Keynote presents on one screen only. You might be able to mirror your main to secondary monitor, but you'd be pushing it with a third. Definitely stay away from QT if you're going to try this. Full-screen QT in Keynote is a miserable experience to say the least, even on one monitor, and especially on LCD screens.
