I´m being offered a 466 sans power supply for a ridicolous low price ($200).

Anyone know how much you can obtain a spare one?

You should fine one for 30 $ (not an apple one). But i find strange this offering. Without power supply you cannot test if the mobo work. I suspect that the mobo is destroyed. Be carefull, the prize is riduculously low ... \

I know. But I think this is legitime. They sell fully functional 466s for $600. Very low too.

But, the 466's are old. That is why they sell for $600. You can't even pick up an clamshell iBook(that is working) for $200.

In other words, I think the mobos fried as well.

If you're somewhat handy at wiring, pick up an ATX supply and some connectors from RadioShack or whatever the hell they have in yurrup.

    There's always digikey.com

Anyway, you'll have to get some instructions on the wiring, but the voltages are color coded so that helps. I know that there are actually a few macs that are directly ATX compatible. I think the 466 might be one of them, but I'm not sure. If it has ADC, it's not one of them.
