Do you use an M2 Studio? Did/do you have a trash can Pro as well?

I'm thinking about upgrading my base model 2013 Mac Pro (trash can) to a M2 Pro Studio.

I work in a home office with no one else in the house in a quiet town. Sound is an issue for me.

Can anyone with experience with both compare the sound levels in normal use? Right now the trash can is very quiet, there is a low frequency  "flowing air" sound but that is all. How does the Studio sound in comparison?

The Studio has smaller fans and they have been recorded with a higher pitched noise amongst the usual flowing air:

According to this, Apple reduced the idle fan speed in M2 vs M1 to be less noticeable:

One of the main advantages of the M-series chips is that they stay so cool that they rarely need to run the fans higher. When they are forced to run full speed, they sound just like blowing air:

M2 Max Studio uses half the power of M2 Ultra so will be easier to stay cooler under load.

Apple list the heat output here:

The Ultra has similar max levels to the Mac Pro, Max is around half. Idle heat output is much lower.
