Newly enforced Apple Certifications

I am an Apple Certified Desktop and Portable Technician. Are there any other Apple techs out there who are being forced to "re-certify" by taking the Mac OS X exam, the Apple Certified Desktop Technician and Apple Certified Portable Technician under the new Apple GSX policies ? I have taken the exams twice, and thought I did well only to find out I failed the exams.



I would like others, if any, to post there input. My department (9 techs) is considering petitioning Apple to grandfather our previous certifications.

    Microsoft has been doing the same thing, Expiring MCSE's if they don't complete the most recent certifacation.



    In large numbers MCSE's are just letting their certifacations lapse,
