OS10.2 problem

I have the OS10.2 running in a pismo powerbook.I recently changed my admin passwords and either was looking at tv or talking on the phone but I typed in the wrong password I was thinking about.

Nonetheless how do I reset the password without loosing,rebooting the whole system and having to start all over from scratch.

    On the Jaguar install CD, if you boot from it, click on the File menu and there is an option to reset the password. Don't do an install, just click the File menu when the window pops up. I have never reset my password, but I assume that should work. Maybe someone else knows better...
