iMovie to Final Cut Pro

I recall hearing Steve state (during MWSF '03) that Final Cut Express could import iMovie files. Is this true of Final Cut Pro 3 as well, and if so, how? Thanks.

    To be able to import an iMovie project into FCP or FCE you first have to make the project a QT-file. You will not be able to just import the project-file.
