Yep,
Nortons is having problems with its current version of utilities.
I recently bought SystemWorks 2 ( Os-X compatible )and it crashed both my machines. ( Two Imacs, 350, 600, )
After much arm wrestling via my Mac dealer, they finally admitted that there were serious problems & that they would be sending me an updated version.
It arrived two weeks ago, so they're definitely aware of problems but are not prepared to admit such openly.
Try chatting to Symantics & to a mac Tech.
good luck
