Apple will soon move into a 45,000-square-foot office in Coral Gables just south of Miami, and it is expected to open a new store nearby.

may be an enormous office building that can hold 12,000 employees, but that's not the only place Apple does business. It has corporate offices across the United States, and it seems another large office could open soon.

According to a report from Bloomberg, Apple is taking 45,000 square feet in an office building in Coral Gables, a location just south of Miami, Florida. The information comes from anonymous sources familiar with the matter, and no other details were offered.

Apple may also be looking to open a new Apple Store in the $4 billion Worldcenter development in Miami. It would join nine other retail locations in the Miami area.

The company has been slowly expanding its presence on the East Coast. A massive 700,000-square-foot campus is also planned for North Carolina, but it appears to be stuck in construction limbo.

There is already a small office in Miami that is focused on business in Latin America and App Store advertising. There is no news on what the new office space will be used for.

Stores, fine. Corporate presence in retrograde States like Florida and Texas should be minimized.

The latest big tech co. To discover the great state of Florida! Awesome. Fairer laws and a more favorable environment. Just watch out for the ocean storms.

As opposed to what, California, which is in a 70 billion dollar budget hole and an untenable cost of living?

Disney tried to move their Animators to Florida it didn't work out for them (Florida declared war on Disney) and it won't work out for Apple either, however Eddie Cue might like it for a short time 45,000 Sq Ft. for one ruler/guy.

Rich old people mainly from the Northeast can afford to move to Florida but if you are young and want a actual career Florida isn't necessarily the place to go and if you are retired and own your house Texas and Florida without Prop 13 isn't the place to go either unless you are well off Tom Cruise, Tiger Woods or Stallone can rebuild forever most people however cannot.
