Disable spellcheck for Freeform on iOS?

I'm trying to use Freeform as a quick and dirty diagramming tool, but I have a problem. There are plenty of words in my diagrams that aren't in the dictionary. Thus, they show up with red squiggles underneath. I've tried a bunch of things and looked all over, but I can't find away around this. Do I just have to write off Freeform for this use case (or change the names of things and coworkers to dictionary words)?  If I weren't trying to use these to communicate to coworkers, it would be no big deal, but I don't want their first reaction to be about the darn squiggles.

Thanks for any suggestions.

The red lines aren't in exported files like PDF but it doesn't look like there's an easy way to turn them off in the main view.

If the words are added to Settings > Keyboard > Text Replacement, they stop being underlined. Sometimes the app or page has to be opened again to refresh.

It's a strange oversight, the lines don't even turn off when disabling check spelling.

There's a feedback form for the app here to submit a bug report:
