virtual pc6 3d graphics problem

Is the nvidia card in my 12"pb 3d comaptible, the nvidia site seems to think so. However when i run up virtual pc6-w2k (which uses a S3 trio64 driver) Ms Freelancer complains because it can't find a 3d graphics card.



I am in the process of downloading the nvidia drivers but i'm curious what effect installing them will have on the connectix software.



Any advice.

    na. it doesn't like the nvidia drivers, incidentally i've just noticed that the s3 card it is trying to emulate only has 4m of memory.

    3D? Virtual PC has absolutely no support for 3D hardware acceleration in its video card "drivers". If you want to play 3D games, you're going to have to get a *real* PC.
