I know there's a lot of talk on AAC, but since many of us will be re-encoding gazillions of CDs i would like to know at what bitrate are u guys encoding these files.
There's a few reports from different folks in one of the other threads, but I would say your best bet is to suck it and see: I find 96kps AAC indistinguishable from 192kps MP3, so that's what I'm going to use.
Of course, your mileage may vary: depends largely on how much of an audiophile you are.
