awesome new imagery from the mondo Microscope folks at FSU.

(now in screensaver form for Windoze folk)

rather than send traditional pics to offer a cookie or a beer, with the new "beershots" collection, you may find the microscopic view of your favourite brew much more technicolour before than after.

Caffeine

Nicotine (Nicorette gum)

Viagra (still a blue rhombus!)

Gin

Ben & Jerry's Coffee Almond Fudge Crunch Ice Cream

Moosehead Beer

Guinness Stout

Corona Beer

Heineken Beer

it's enough to make one thirsty...

mmmm.... microphotocrystallography of beer.

check out the silicon zoo section for the hidden graphics etched into the chips inside various computers... some classics.

The Ben and Jerry's is the best. I've always felt that those ice cream makers truly understand colour, unlike the British who just don't get colour as one of our French friends was so kind to point out a while back. This just confirms those suspicions in spades.

Let's not quibble about details. I think we all can agree that in the broadest sense the Chiraqis along with Ben and Jerry clearly get it and you Brits don't. Don't even get me started on cuisine either.

I'm afraid I can't condone that sort of man love even if it does come from a resident of OurPoodleistan. Much as we Unilateralistanis love our friends from the nation that gave us Chamberlain, King George III and boiled beef, it still is a bit unseemly to express this affection with the sort of gay fervor that you propose.

I would however be willing to let you buy a product for me from one of my country's multinational corporations if you are determined to show your affection. Anything will do, as long as some old white guy gets a few more ducats as a result.

if he were to buy a product from one of our multinational corporations, don't you think he could get it in London? Multinational.

some of these microphotos are more aesthetically pleasing than many paintings,

but i'm not sure if we can say "life imitates art".

    more that "life is art"

or that some drugs look trippy

For those who don't know, an R12000 is a MIPS processor, and a good one at that.

the hypercard strummin' t-rex is cool (and would be cooler if i had an SGI R12000 box), but the fact Mr. T is looking down a bunch of T1 lines as we speak gives that jibba jabba vibe

and for pure quality, the 1.1 square millimeter Thor is sweet
