Goodbye John... you will be missed.

Stockton retires

I guess it's hard to believe that someone who played with such genius for so long is actually human. I guess he was getting tired of making 23 year olds look bad and needs more time with his beautiful wife and six children.

Thanks for all the incredible basketball, John Stockton!

Good luck John, I wil always remember that pass that you made in the NBA Finals, or some playoff round, to Malone that covered the whole court.

Anyone who wants to play point guard should be forced to watch a couple hundred hours of Stock in action. The epitome of the position.

Every player in the draft should be given a six week course in how to conduct themselves off the court based on his career.

God, if you had told me in 1988 he and Malone would be playing their last game together now...

Basketball fans have been blessed, that's for sure.

It was always fun watching the Bulls whip the Jazz, but now I'm left wondering if professional basketball will return to Chicago.

Stock was a little runt, but he was a good little runt.

On the bright side, Stockton will beat Malone to the HoF by a year or two, so he can poke fun at Malone when they're geezers.

Two very good players retired this year. Stockton and Jordan, again. Sad to see them go.
