Backup

What is the best way to backup your information in OSX for 'light' computer users? Aside from a fairly large chunk of family photos in my Pictures file, I don't have a great deal of additional data in my 'Home' files. However, what I have, including my photos and the limited collection of other stuff, I really need to keep. What is the best way to backup without spending lots of $$$?

I'd say, burn it to CD or DVD...whichever drive you have and depending on how much you have to back-up.

What about a xserve with automated backup!

Note apples backup program does not work with external non apple drives. and retrospect onlyworks with drives under certain conditions

Does anyone have a solution to this
