AAC via dock to Receiver Compatibility

Couldn't find this addressed in any of the numerous threads on AAC - sorry in advance if I missed it! I'm ripping my CD's into iTunes tomorrow in the 192-AAC format. When I feed my dock into my Sony-ES Receiver, will it pick it up? Or will the dock spit it out in an AAC format that the receiver can't read? Anybody have any experience with this?

the dock should just spit out the audio, no? i mean theoretically you could just hook up headphones to the line out port on the dock and it would work... right?

the dock outputs a standard analog audio signal. it'll work fine. your receiver wouldn't know an AAC if it bit it in the ass.
