New Safari unstable?

Has anyone had problems with the new version of Safari? It seems very unstable to me -- it quits at least 2-3X a day. Sometimes it quits if I just move (move, not re-size!) the window!

And what exactly have they fixed? The same pages that did not work previously still do not work...

Yes. The new PeopleSoft eCampus poop U. RI paid 10 mil for crashes it like clockwork. Plus Safari needs to be restarted all the time because it stops loading pages right or at all. When's the update coming?

Beta 2 (v73). I'm pretty sure that I installed this version before upgrading to 10.2.5, so I'm not which is the culprit. All I know is that Safari never "unexpectedly quit" on me before, and now it does it fairly often. Other apps are pretty stable, although I've also noticed iTunes 4 quitting a couple of times.

I'm ready for this OS (and its apps) to be stable already....

I've managed to make Safari Beta 2 quit unexpectedly on a specific couple of pages that had some garbage in them, otherwise it's on from the moment I log in until I log out.

When safari goes into a fit of unexpected quits, clear your cache. Then it won't happen again... For a while..

That's true. And we paid 10 mil. I just barfed in my mouth and swallowed it.

Haha... sorry to hear that. Does this help? From Macminute:

    PeopleSoft announces support for Safari

May 7 - 06:44 EDT__ PeopleSoft today announced that it plans to certify Apple's open source-based Safari Web browser, allowing users of the company's enterprise applications to take advantage of Safari's features, such as SnapBack navigation and tabbed browsing. "The Safari browser delivers the fastest Web browser performance in the Mac OS X environment and once certified will enable PeopleSoft users to be more productive," notes the press release. PeopleSoft says that Safari support will be available in the fourth quarter of this year

Looks like you have a while to wait unless Apple has a way to fix it.

If I had a clue I'd be a high-paid programmer at Apple... Or at least a programmer of sorts...

Safari is very stable, except when using google image search, that constantly crashes it... have to use camino for that... other that than, and using ie at work, its my main browser now...
