can't refresh folders in remote machine
I just posted this feedback on Apple's Mac OS X feedback page:
"I am on Mac that's networked with a WIndows PC in a simple LAN. I opened a folder from my PC on the Mac. When I add items to that folder on the PC, they do not appear on the PC. Infuriatingly there is no way to refresh the contents of that folder/window on the Mac. I even tried using Back/Forward, closing the window and reopening it, to no avail.
Folder caching doesn't get any more braindead. Either implement some kind of cache invalidation mechanism or provide a Windows-like Refresh button/menu item. How many more years will we have to wait for a proper Finder implementation on Mac OS X??? This is getting truly ridiculous!!!!"
I am so sick and tired of the million little bugs and glitches like the above that have been around in Mac OS X for a couple of years now without Apple seeming to be willing to address them.
