Partial Albums

I do understand why the iTunes Music Store has Partial Albums being that one song or more may be owned by someone who hasn't a license with Apple. I am just wondering how the Partial Album situation works. In other words, if you purchase a Partial Album today, is your name kept on record, and you eventially get the rest of that album when licensing agreements are worked out? Yes, I am sure the answer is "fat chance," however, I thought that I would ask anyway.

you can only buy those albums by the individual songs that are available anyway...there is no lump sum to pay for the entire partial album
