Ok i've got dual screens, 1 a crt and the other, default 17" formac TFT. i want to view dvd movies on the crt which is connected via the DVI port, but it will not let me move the player over on to it!!any know of a way to do this as DVDs look more natural on crts.

Any advice would be a help, cheers in advance.

Just use VideoLAN Client. Download it here.

It's a great app for playing DVDs, VCDs, MPEG, DivX and Windows Media.

Using the Displays System Pref, move the menu bar over to the CRT. That blesses it as the 'primary' display. DVD Player will now use it.

You can whip up AppleScripts to automate the move of the menu bar, and back.
