Ship of Fools. They bill themselves as "The magazine for Christian unrest" - there's a great community, and all views are tolerated as long as you have reasoned debate. (That's not to say you won't get a ton of counter-arguments if everyone thinks you're wrong... but you won't get shot down in flames without reason, unless you post in Hell.)
Yes, Hell is a forum title there. It's probably the only Christian site on the net with a link saying "Go to Hell" at the bottom of each page! (Actually, knowing what some religious sites are like, on second thoughts maybe it isn't.)
It's fun running your own forum, like having a model train set. The hard part is getting your friends to join in on the fun. You have to have two things in place to have a successful forum.
1. Interesting Subject Matter
2. People who are internet geeks with opinions and decent typing skills.
