Strange Apache problem

I have a test server running on OSX on my laptop.

All runs fine, just simple cgi scripts taking variables and showing info in a html page and some ssi.

The problem I am having is if I am out the studio (out of range of my airport) or turn my airport off the server seems to stop executing any scripts at all. Flat html works fine (as you would expect).

The reason I want this test server running on the laptop is so I can still show the site even if the person I am showing it to has no internet connection.

Is there a very simple reason for this? am I being dumb ?

the LIVE site is http://www.popuptours.co.uk

thanks

j.

Is your request originating from the Domain name and not the IP. Within your httpd.conf file, did you assign your servername a DNS name rather than 127.0.0.0 (localhost)

When your not connected to anything, your httpd.conf file should recognize it as localhost.

    Just a thought
