According to this MacCentral article World of Warcraft has a chance of being a simultaneous release for Mac OS X and Windows.

I plan on getting a giga-designs G4 upgrade card (1.25 GHz) and a Radeon 9000 to prepare...

What do you guys think?

What's the monthly cost. I haven't seen any prices yet.

I haven't heard anything about the price either. The FAQ at blizzard's site says that they haven't determined a price yet.

    preparing?

the game won't even be out for over a year, I'll bet.

    Blizzard is slow and methodical.

I'm pretty worried about this 'instancing' thing.

this better not mean that people are blocked from entering an area.

Even if it means that each group gets its own 'copy' of certain locations - it means they're fracturing the world. That can cause a lot of problems and disrupt continuity of things drastically.

I hope you kids have played a little UO, EQ, or AC.

Persistant world games are unlike ANY OTHER TYPE OF GAME.

    They're insane.

I guess you can always practice when EQMac comes out. =)
