Strange key-on-screen behaviour

Yesterday my iBook started to act strangely. When I pressed the Apple key or the shift key or the like it made the sound of an old type writer and displayed the key in white at the right on the screen.



I haven´t been able to reproduce it today.



Anyone seen this before? From where did it come?

    it is the accessibility extensions aka 'sticky keys'

    press the shift key 5 times fast



    to disable: sysprefs, accessibility, turn off keyboard shortcuts
