I want a program onto which I can *drop* a *folder* of *uninstalled* fonts to have it give me a preview of the fonts therein. Of the many font previewing programs out there, is there one which can fulfil those requirements?
There are programs that will view uninstalled fonts, including iView and TypeJet and Typeset and others, but not as I decribe above, with good utilization of drag and drop &c.
Haven't tried the ones suggested above, but I use X font info. Works with drag n drop and all. And you can set fonts to automatically open using the app...
I love that program, I just wish you could manage files better. The only thing missing is the ability to remove a font from your Font folders, but it is a viewer, not a manager.

Unfortunately, I know of no way to preview uninstalled fonts in Mac OS X.
It says it can view lots of file types, incuding fronts.
