iTunes radio ROCKS!

Sitting here at work with no radio, no iTunes 4, none of my mp3s, etc.

BUT we do have DSL...

Like a dork, I?d completely forgotten about iTunes streaming radio feature.

Found an appropriately cheesy/happy 80?s station and now the rest of my Friday should be pretty cool. Sitting here in silence is a thing of the past. And this weekend, I?ll burn my 3000-song iTunes library to a couple of DVDs and bring those in next week.

J. Geils? ?Centerfold? is currently playing...

iTunes is the best!

This is just a happy, upbeat post, praising a particular piece of software on a pre-holiday Friday.

Thank you, Apple.

    Yeah, I guess.

Don't get me wrong: I'd used it a hundred times before, but that was at home, on my computer, as just sort of fun or a "luxury" (because I had all of my mp3s right there also). It was never a "needed" thing, or primary focus.

But in a situation like above (at work, no mp3s around, no traditional radio, etc.), I've really come to appreciate it.

I KNEW it was cool. Just didn't know how much I needed it, or that it could kinda put a nice spin on the remainder of the day.

Why not stream your personal library, rather than bring in a burned dvd?

Might be easier to just bring them in...besides, then he'll have backed up the library in case of a problem later.
