I have a question, Thank you.



I have my Mac and PC on a netWork (Imac and Alienware) and was wondering how I get songs from my iMac to my PC through the network.



Since I suck at everything in life, I do not know, so whats up?



Oh, and also, Altec Lansing 621 speakers are the shizzle, don't be hatin.

    tough to say for sure without knowing what specs and OS version each box has



    worst case,

    if you've got an RW burner in the iMac, burn mp3 discs and sneakernet them across to the peecee, rewrite the discs if you can, archive 'em if not.



    best case,

    centralize library on iPod or FW drive accessed from either machine



    capt. obvious case,

    either push from the mac into a folder on the pc you have mounted as an SMB share volume (after logging into the pc from the mac), or share the mac music folder and pull it down from the pc that can mount the network shared folder. depends on which you're better with, but pushing from the mac may be easier to get the permissions right with.

    Its really easy.



    Look up windows networking or something like that at www.apple.com/support



    they give u the instructions step by step
