New to lap tops so a battery question....

When I'm working at home on my new PBook and the battery is getting low, can I just continue using it and plug the adapter into the wall to get electricity, or should I switch the PB off first, then plug in the adaptor & switch back on? Sorry to be a dumbass...

    nah, just plug it in and continue working. Its all good.

    Remember to extend your battery life while working, lower your screen brightness and turn off your airport.
