Used to be a writer, but then I got deprogrammed. The doctors and clergy say that I can be a normal productive member of society now.

I used to write quite a bit of poetry (I've got some on my web site), and did the whole poetry reading thing too, but after a burst of activity that spanned maybe eight years, my muse has taken a very extended vacation.

What LiquidR said, only it wasn't any clergy that straightened me out. More like lack of money. I still write in various circles (including this one) for pure sport, but it's damn hard to make a living as a writer. Even if it's in a corporate setting -- say a Marcomm job or something. You have to have many other skills (meaning you have to be willing to become a total fooking gopher) if you want to write in that line of work.

I only write silly stuff here ... Most of the readers agree that this production is sufficiant, and that there is no need to write more ...
