Deauthorizing...

So, I forgot to deauthorize my music on my Mac before I reformatted the drive...I assume this means I have permanently eaten up one of the three authorizations I can have to play music.

Luckily I CCCed the drive--if I boot from the clone and run iTunes to deauthorize the music, will that free up the computer?

It's so weird to have to worry about this stuff.

I think it's only a problem when you totally reformat...and I was able to boot into the old system, turn off authorization, boot back into the new system and the computer is still authorized...only once, which is great.
