Are they still showing that? The live action Tick tanked and for good reason, bad writing.

I thought it was something along the lines of:

Arthur: Tick, do you remember what I said when we fought the proto-clown posse?

Tick: "Please, not to the face!"?

    Arthur: I mean after that!

Memory fades, but it's still damn funny.

    I also liked this one:

"Hi, Tick! I'm your intellect! Sorry I haven't been around much, I'm easily distracted by small, shiny objects."

i thought it was hilarious at times, but not enough episodes to nail it

batmanuel was an improvement on die fledermaus, IMO,

but to be fair I haven't watched much of the animated one

    Whaddya mean, bad writing?

"I'm starting to like the cut of this man's gibberish."

    Classic!

And the quote fits how I felt about the series being cancelled, too.

Bad writing in the plot sense. They just hung out and never did much. The real Tick fought villains and stuff. Plus is was a half hour. Too short.

The network never supported the show, it was a miracle that it even saw the light of day. The characterizations were dead-on, Stephen Carbonell's Batmanuel was genius, as was Patrick Warburton's Tick. Lots of potential, not enough backing.

You want plot? Only Evil plots... while The Forces of Justice must undo Evil's plots, pound Evil into the dirt, go to bed early, and wake up to a nutritious breakfast!
