What do you mean "the first batch" and "the second batch." Are you implying there will be two different introductions, at different dates?

One iBook cannot be "700/800." It's either 700 OR 800. When are these 900s coming out?

Maybe there will be 3 models with the first 2 (700 & 800mhz) "shipping today" and the 3rd (900mhz model) will ship early december (knowing apple it will be more like february when the 900mhz model ships).

Radeon 7500 as the graphics chip? What does the PB use?

Assuming there's a 13" model, what are possible standard and widescreen resolutions?

And do you think true (no hacking) video spanning be available?

If it was meant to video span then there would be more VRAM, as Quartz Extreme eats the stuff.

*IF* there's a 13-inch widescreen iBook to be had, it *must* have a G4 to be cool. Otherwise, it's kind of lame. Again, as I noted in another thread, Seanyepez from the MacNN forums said his sources told him those iBooks would have G4 processsors. The low-end at 600 MHz; the high-end 733 with a 133 bus.

Disappointing. I would rather have a 1GHz G3 iBook with 6 hours battery life than a 600MHz G4 iBook with 3 hours battery life.

From the guy who says he knows the information of Apple iBook OEM companies in Taiwan, I, myself do not know if this spec. is true or false, I just share the rumor I've heard of.
