Power Mac G4 ignores keyboard & mouse
Has anybody else with a Power Mac G4 noticed a problem where it just ignores the keyboard & mouse (the light goes out on the mouse).
It seems to happen a lot when playing games. Red Faction, Medal of Honor, Jedi Outcast all exhibit this problem. Basically you'll be playing, and without any warning the machine just ignores the keyboard & mouse. Unplugging, replugging, replugging in a different USB port has no effect. The light on the mouse comes on again after about 30 seconds.
I've tried swapping out the keyboard & mouse but the same thing keeps happenning. Any guesses? I'm running a clean install of 10.2.6, no apps running in the background, 2GB of RAM and Dual 1GHz CPUs.
