Virtual PC 6 help...how do I move a file?

I cannot seem to move a file from the Mac desktop to the PC desktop using Virtual PC...the file just jumps back to where it was on the Mac desktop. It is very frustrating! Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong??? Thanks!!!

    What version of Windows are you using? How is your shared drive setup?

    I'm using W2K. Shared Drives? According to VPC help, I should be able to drag and drop?

    does the filename contain any characters that are not allowed on the windows system?

    Have you installed VPC additions? If not, do so.
