connnecting .mpg movies

dl a couple of clips,

export them to dv streams in QT and

join the clips in imovie

all done perfectly except the sound is not there

in the imovie clip

any idea??

or is there a better way to join clips of .mpg

There is a program on versiontracker called "mpgtx GUI" or something similar - it provides an interface for a command line unix .mpg joiner (and splitter). It seems to work quite well.
