Question for Virtual PC users
Quick recap: I have a couple of Firewire hard drives formatted in the Windows NTFS format. OS X cannot read these disks and wants to format them when connected to a Mac. They contain a lot of video that I want to use with iDVD when I get a new PowerMac.
Question: Will the drives show up in My Computer on the Windows XP desktop in Virtual PC and will I be able to copy the video to my Mac internal drive to work with?
I have searched the internet and get varying "answers"; it appears Virtual PC CAN read NTFS disks but not when connected by a Firewire connection but I have yet to find a definitive answer. Surely someone out there has either done this or attempted it?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, but that's a complicated and slow solution. Why not just share that drive over SMB?
