Could we have more descriptive thread titles?

I've been puzzled by the number of thread titles with random or esoteric thread titles lately...stuff like "Uhmm..." and "15.2 -> 15.4" . Not to pick on anybody, but this seems like a cheap way to get people to click on their thread, and doesn't belong in a focused discussion group.



Moderators on this site have done a good job of squashing redundant or aimless threads, I was wondering if they have the power to change the title of a thread? And if not, maybe the mods could start locking threads like that and letting people know why they got locked?



Just a small suggestion. Thanks guys for all that you do.

    Yep, I've changed quite a few thread titles in the past week. If you see one that is really bad, fire a moderator from that particular forum a PM and it will be changed (if it needs to be).
