How can I post pictures that are located on my hard drive?

    Pop those images onto a web server, such as your .mac account if you have one or geocities or something and then just use the image button when you post and put the url location of the image in the section.

    if you have an always-on internet connection (like cable, or dsl, or a ridiculously high phone bill) then you can host a web server yourself (you can turn on the one Apple gives you in the Sharing pane in System Preferences). Then link the img tag to http://yourIPOrDNSName/path/to/your/picture
