Saving a whole website

I've tried Pagesucker and Web Devil, but neither can download this site:

Why are these applications so pants?

    I personally haven't tried either of those apps, but I bet they might be choking on that site because it uses frames.



    Have you tried using the "save as" function from IE? I think it might be save as archive? That actually does the same thing - sucks the images & everything onto your hard drive...



    Not sure if that helps - just a thought.

    today on call for help on tech tv they showed a program called web srtipper, they said it was good

    webstripper is windows only



    try using the IE function Save As.. Web Archive then >5 (depending on how big site is) for links option in Options dialog.



    Alternatively, try wget from the command line - using the --level=X argument recursively gets web pages (and media) (where recursive level is X) and places them in a nice folder for you.

    jamm: did you install wget? My OSX.2.6 doesn't have it; I miss wget.

    By the way, how do you save Flash or Shockwave content to disk?

    wget -m was designed specifically for grabbing and mirroring websites...
