deleting songs on an ipod...

Is there any way to delete songs by artist instead of by title. I accidentally load some stuff on there labeled New Artist 7, and i want to delete it. However, The track titles are track 1 etc...which i have like 5 track 1s and I dont know which song is which. Any help appreciated...

    I assume you're updating the ipod manually? Then you can press cmd+b to get the browser and you'll field with the genre, artist and album. You can delete the song by deleting any of those three that contain the song. HTH.

    same command when using musicmatch on (unfortunately) a PC?

    I can't wait to get my powerbook in a month. The ipod works so well on macs, but when its on a PC, you have to do everything ten times and fidget with different menus and programs to do just about anything with the ipod.
