Firewall in OSX

I turned on the firewall option in OSX last night.



However, I'm not sure how you are supposed to monitor how the firewall is doing it's job - are there are utilities that pop up alerts when it blocks access etc?

    Brick house is a good utility for tapping into the OS X firewall. You should check that out.
