I would be very tempted to get my credit card out if I saw something like this...

Duel G4 1.5Ghz

+300Mhz FSB

DDR-II 500Mhz

AGP 8x

and a NV30 gfx card.

hardware RAID (So I can stripe for 266Mb/sec drive speed)

With free IPod... but maybe thats just greedy!

I like your Hardware Raid Idea. Also the AGP8x would be nice. (9700pro)

Another one of those not-going-to-happen ideas. It isn't even realistic. Maybe three years from now. And even then. The 1.5 GHz G4 is about the only thing possible by now.

Errrm der Kopf, Which planet you living on.

Abit mobos have all these features already!

NV30 release date is set for Feb.

Have you seen the NV30, otherwise known as GeForceFX. The thing is FRIGGIN HUGE. It's got enough copper tubing to cool a whole computer. Might as well give it its own case...lol.. Anyway, the point of this is to suggest the Radeon 9700 vs. the NV30. Other than that, everything else seems great...too bad I just got my Dual 1 Ghz Powermac...

GeForceFX cant be too much bigger than my current Ti4600 otherwise It wont fit on an atx mobo.

And I would choose nVidia over radion because I am on my 3rd nVidia card, and they have all been fantastic.

It's made bigger by giving the card more depth, rather than increasing its width or height, which would make it bigger than ATX allows. The pictures I've seen of the GeForce FX show that it takes up the space reserved for PCI slot 1 as well as the AGP slot.

You'll be lucky if Jobs doesn't produce a price hike by MWSF. Not to worry, with X86 clearly untouchable, PPC can still beat out the best Xscale has to offer, at least for a few more months.

    <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> A shift to dual Dragonball processors as a step up!

Anyway, I wonder if the new Quicksilver Windtunnels were built to cool the Geforce FX!
