Going to Cupertino & Palo Alto and have a question

Quick question I was hoping someone might answer for me. I'll be going to San Francisco on the first of July and am planning on going to the Apple store in Palo Alto, I thought I heard somewhere that there is also a store on the Apple headquarters site at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino. Am I wrong? Perhaps I heard it isn't a true Apple store but a gift shop. Any insight anyone could shed on the existince of this store and if it does in fact exist, what the operating hours are, would be appreciated. Thanks.

    I haven't been in there for a long time. I'd guess that there are more gift items there than in the retail Apple Stores. I've received things like Apple logo shirts, sweatshirts, and a pen from the company store.
