.mac T610 and email?

I have tried to collect my .mac email using my uder name and password and pop3 with my T610, however the phone says "wrong mailbox or password" any suggestions.



I have tried username and username@mac.com as the mailbox neither seem to work.

    What are you using as your pop and smtp servers?

    I couldn't make this work until I turned on SMTP security ... and made sure that I wasn't connecting with a GPRS WAP account but a GPRS web account (that does not go via a gateway).



    P800, but the same dealie. May not help, but hope it does.

    the strange thing is I can cannect to my Lineone account but... that is spammed all the time, just like hotmail etc. I cannot understand how they wrote the GUI for this phone... there is no way to delete an email account from the phone, you can modify it but you cannot modify the name.
