What I Hope Will Be In iChatAV Final

I hope the following things are added into iChatAV final:



1. MSN Messanger service with audio and video chatting.



2. The ability to audio chat with other AIM users like those on Windows.



3. Away messages ala AIM. When you turn an away message on and IMs are recieved the IMs are only revealed when "you're back".



4. This may not happen to everyone but I want the ability to easily add buddies into my buddy list without having to resort to AIM.



5. Easier and more stable Direct IM chats. It's possible now but sometimes iChat gives you a fatal error and you have to quit and reopen it.



6. iRC access. Though there are many iRC clients out there for Mac, I think it would be convinient to have AIM, MSN, and iRC all in one app. Programs like Fire etc already have this but I believe that Apple can do a much better and a much more solid job on that. This would make iChat the REAL chat experience.



Those are all the feature I cant think of at the moment.... Feel free to add to the list and I'll add more later on when I can think of some more.

    Well groups are on their way:

    You must first select one or more groups before you can add people to the buddy list.

    MSN Messenger surely uses proprietary WMV/WMA encoding for videoconferencing, so no way is this going to happen.

    i want to get groups only in teh list like AIM not just see the buddies from the gropus i want to see what buddies are in what groups



    i also wnat a decent way to read info's and away messages!

    honestly, ast3r3x, did you even download ichat 2?



    the 'away messages not showing' thing is no longer a problem...





    buddy infos work as well...

    listen jon, because u have god like powers on AI (and you've always been nice ) i will not resort to any type of defense but say that i am talking about a better way to see them without extending the buddy list, also the info window for the profilesi wish you could control the size because its kinda tight and not very much text fits in at one time



    lets not assume i'm an idiot next time honestly...

    I would also like those features.



    Along with a better implementation of the Groups Feature. I like how it's implemented UI wise [how it's @ the top of the list] but it would be even better to know which groups they are in when you select to display multiple groups @ once.

    that is one of the things is was (at least trying) to say when jon tried to bust on me...so i thank for you for proper wording
